This grant allows HHS to participate in the Empty the Shelters event on May 4\, 2019 when all featured\, spay/neutered\, ready to go animals on this day will have a reduced adoption fee of just $25.00 per pet.\n\n \n\n"The Empty the Shelters grant allows HHS to increase our adoption volume on May 4th\," said Paula Flug\, Animal Care Director of Halifax Humane Society.
