Come get trained on Overdose Response & Reversal and receive FREE NarCan courtesy of Volusia Recovery Alliance and their New Chance NarCan Outreach Committee.\n\n\n\nKEYNOTE SPEAKER:  VOLUSIA COUNTY SHERIFF MIKE CHITWOOD\n\nBeginning in May 2006\, Sheriff Chitwood was fortunate to call Volusia County his home --\n\nwhere he served as Daytona Beach Police Chief for 10 years before deciding to run for\n\nSheriff.\n\nHe has a strong and dedicated team of professionals\, both sworn and civilian\, at\n\nthe Sheriff's Office that he is honored to lead. As Sheriff\, his priorities have been\n\ncombatting juvenile crime\, protecting seniors\, strengthening neighborhoods\, expanding\n\ncommunity outreach efforts and maintaining open lines of communication. He will also\n\nplace a high priority on encouraging innovation and creativity in the workplace.
