DESCRIPTION:STEMFEST VOLUSIA 2018 - An annual event to introduce students of all ages to careers in Science\, Technology\, Engineering and Math. STEMFEST VOLUSIA is a showcase of inter-active exhibits and displays. STEMFEST VOLUSIA was created to provide students with a hands-on educational experience\, designed to inspire them towards careers in Science\, Technology\, Engineering and Math. STEMFEST VOLUSIA is put on through the coordinated efforts of the Daytona Stadium (aka Daytona Beach Municipal Stadium)\, Volusia County Schools\, and many Local\, Regional and National organizations We are currently asking for the help of our Daytona Beach community in the form of volunteers to help with all areas of event operations! Volunteers in high school will receive appropriate "Volunteer Credit" as the Volusia County School system has outlined. College volunteers may receive grade and/or point "extra" credit as awarded by your individual instructor. For all\, please communicate with Emily Murphy at 386-264-8897 prior to the event in order to obtain the maximum amount of recognition for participating.
