Welcome to The Book Was Better Book Club, a community of readers who dig deeper than the screenplay and explore the pages behind the picture. Each month, we choose a popular book-to-screen adaptation, read the original novel, and then host lively, spoiler-filled discussions about what was lost, gained, or totally changed in translation.
From beloved classics to today’s trendiest titles, we cover it all—plot twists, casting choices, missing chapters, and, of course, whether Hollywood did it justice.
