Veterans Museum And Education Center Welcomes Jake Johansson on June 3, 2025 – A Legacy of Leadership and Service Continues
Monday, May 19, 2025 - Daytona Beach, FL – The Veterans Museum And Education Center (VMAEC) is honored to welcome (Ret) Captain Jake Johansson, Volusia County Council Member At Large, as its June Speaker of the Month on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. The event will be held at the museum, located at 302 Vermont Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL 32118.
Jake Johansson is a retired U.S. Navy Captain whose career has been marked by distinguished service and dedication to leadership. Following his military career, Jake continued his public service as City Manager for the City of Port Orange. Today, he proudly serves the citizens of Volusia County as a Council Member At Large, driven by a passion for improving the quality of life for both current and future generations.
As an active community leader and leadership consultant, Jake brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to every role he undertakes. He serves on numerous boards and committees and is committed to helping local citizens access better job opportunities, community resources, and a higher quality of life.
