The Port Orange South Daytona Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program will begin
September 28, 2016. The program is designed to develop informed individuals through field trips, interactive seminars, and face-to-face meetings with key community leadership. Participants develop a strong network of community contacts, build working partnerships and become aware of skills and knowledge needed by the Chamber, cities and community non-profit organizations. Sessions are designed to strengthen personal leadership skills as well as strong community based awareness.
2016 SCHEDULE
September 28 Orientation: 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Riverside Pavilion
October 5 Team Building: 7:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
October 12 Education: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
October 19 Criminal Justice: 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
October 26 Economic Development: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
November 1 Port Orange City Council Meeting 6:15 pm
November 2 Environment: 7:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
November 9 Health and Human Services: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
November 16 Culture and History: 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
November 30 Graduation Presentation at the Annual Chamber Banquet
