The Florida Hospital Cancer Institutes in Volusia and Flagler counties offer genetic counseling – a comprehensive, customized program designed to support those who have, or may be at risk for, hereditary cancer conditions. Our highly-trained Genetic Counselor, Cindy Trawick, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified, provides in-depth consultations to assess your family history of cancer and personal risk of developing cancer. If you are determined to be at high-risk, laboratory testing is conducted in-office and customized recommendations are provided specific to your genetic make-up.
