Please join us for The Mother's Day Memorial Butterfly Release This event is a time for the community to remember those who have touched our hearts and will never be forgotten. Butterflies are iconic and amazing. The butterfly release is a symbol for the soul - representing beauty, serenity, peace and hope. The annual Mother's Day Butterfly Release is a free community event open to the entire public. The hour-long program supports the loss of parent, loss of child, and general loss. Each guest will receive a live butterfly for release. The community is encouraged to register their attendance in advance so we can make sure we have enough butterflies! There will be keynote speakers, music and a play will be performed by the Daytona Playhouse. Remembrance is at Daytona Memorial Park, 1425 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL 32115 on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 14, 2017 at 4:00 PM.
