Come join our Keynote Speaker and the panelists as they share their knowledge on the opioid epidemic and how it’s effecting the workplace environment in Volusia county.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER:  VOLUSIA COUNTY SHERIFF MIKE CHITWOOD
Beginning in May 2006, Sheriff Chitwood was fortunate to call Volusia County his home --
where he served as Daytona Beach Police Chief for 10 years before deciding to run for
Sheriff.
He has a strong and dedicated team of professionals, both sworn and civilian, at
the Sheriff’s Office that he is honored to lead. As Sheriff, his priorities have been
combatting juvenile crime, protecting seniors, strengthening neighborhoods, expanding
community outreach efforts and maintaining open lines of communication. He will also
place a high priority on encouraging innovation and creativity in the workplace. To
be successful, all of this requires strong bonds of partnership with the community and
everyone working together.
