Port Orange South Daytona Chamber of Commerce announces Award Recipients
The Port Orange South Daytona Chamber of Commerce announces the recipients of the 2023 Annual Awards. The Businessperson of the Year goes to Sal Passalaqua Jr, Area Manager/Funeral Director of Volusia Memorial Park & Funeral Homes/Dignity Memorial for his contributions in encouraging and providing professional development for his staff, exemplary customer service and volunteering in the Volusia County Community. This award is sponsored by Halifax Health.
Not only was Frank a hard worker and dedicated to his family, but he was also actively involved in the community. He served as a member of several organizations including the Port Orange South Daytona Chamber of Commerce; the Port Orange South Daytona Rotary Club; Board Member of Riverside Pavilion; and Commissioner of the City of Port Orange Planning and Zoning Board.
Our Friend of The Chamber award goes to Julie Mialki of Gisseppe’s Steel City Pizza of Port Orange for her outstanding contributions by providing special assistance to the chamber and the community.
The Ambassador of the Year that has given countless hours of volunteer service supporting our numerous events goes to Andrea Janson, Agency Owner Reliable Insurance Symmetry Financial Group.
On Wednesday, December 6, join us as we celebrate our collective successes, as we honor these award recipients at The Annual Dinner Meeting and Awards Gala with this year Theme “Legacy & Promise” A Celebration of Entrepreneurial Spirit and Leadership. The evening kicks off at 5:30p.m. with a cocktail reception and Entertainment Provided by Solo Guitarist, Reed Foley and dinner at 6:30p.m. at the Daytona Beach Shores Community Center.
