Thrive Community Church Announces Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Building
Thrive Community Church is excited to announce the groundbreaking ceremony for its new building on March 11th, 2024, at 5:30 pm. Located at 6156 S Williamson Blvd, Port Orange, FL, 32128, with parking available at Cypress Creek Elementary School, this event marks a significant milestone in the church's journey towards establishing a permanent home in Volusia County.
The new facility, designed to meet the growing needs of the congregation and community, will feature a 321-seat Worship Center, multiple Sunday School Classrooms for infants through elementary students, a welcoming coffee bar area, and administrative offices. This development reflects Thrive Church's commitment to fostering spiritual growth and community service for generations to come.
The ceremony will feature speeches from Lead Pastor Pete Keirstead, Mayor Don Burnette, Dr. Sparger (Principal of Spruce Creek High School), local chamber member and business owner Greg Novak, and a representative of Thrive's youth, highlighting the church's vision and mission. Founded with the aim of seeing the lost found and the found grow, Thrive Community Church has seen over 2,700 individuals make a commitment to Jesus and more than 600 baptisms, all while operating as a portable church.
Attendees can look forward to a special celebration that will include opportunities for photographs, commemorating this pivotal moment. The event promises to be a memorable occasion for community members to witness the church's transition from being planted to being rooted firmly within the community.
