A sense of duty. A sense of community.
As a volunteer firefighter and EMT in my hometown, I aspired to a higher calling. For 20 years, the United States Coast Guard expanded my sense of purpose and service to my Country. My assignments enabled me to get married, start a family, and earn a Masters degree in teacher leadership.
Community involvement has grown to include the participation with my daughters school and Parish as the President of the Advisory Board as well as a running coach for the elementary school students.
