Description
For the first time in history, 5 unique generations are active in the workforce & marketplace. Effective communication is now more important than ever. Learning to speak the language of your customers, and co-workers translate into more sales, productivity, and harmony in the workplace, leading to less employee turnover, lower risk, higher profits and, most importantly, a more collaborative culture and environment for everyone. While everyone seems to focus on "understanding millennials," the first step is self-awareness. Before you can understand others, you must first understand yourself. Once achieved, the session helps dispel negative generational stereotypes and teaches attendees to leverage the strengths of their "age diverse" customers and employees. With 5 generations in today's economy, effective communication is now more important than ever. Learn how to leverage the strengths of your age-diverse employees and engage all ages of consumers. Key Learnings: TAKEAWAY 1: Become self-aware of your own generational signposts, preferences, and values so that you can better understand intergenerational counterparts. TAKEAWAY 2: Discuss, acknowledge, and dispell negative generational stereotypes to open your mind to generational differences. TAKEAWAY 3: Embrace and leverage the strengths of each generation internally while better understanding how to engage, and activate age-diverse customers.
